This copy is very good with wear along all edges, scattered foxing throughout, complete with the four leaves which were meant to be removed and used as art, in the original dust jacket with moderate wear along edges, large chips at ends of spine, several inches closed tear extending across the spine into the rear panel, minor loss at corners, closed tears and creasing along top edges.

A nice copy overall, binding with significant surface wear but expected due to age and use ( adds great character for those wanting a book to display in a Primitive Farmhouse setting) covers with scratches and rear cover features child stick figure folk art, rubbing to spine and corners, lacking front blank endpaper as well as page 3 and 5 (Part of introduction), pencil and ink doodles to paste downs, pages toned and with faint staining as well as spotting.
